Directions to Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium

New Rochelle, NY

By Car

From North (upper Westchester and Ct.) - Take I-95 South to Exit 16, North Ave. Follow signs to North Ave., Make a right onto North Ave., and proceed one mile to Summit Ave. The Mirage Diner is a landmark on Summit Ave. Make a left onto Summit Ave. and park at the top of the hill in the parking lot. Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium Hall in the Murphy Science Building is at the foot of the hill on Summit and North Aves.

From South (NYC) - Take I-95 to exit 16, North Ave. and proceed as above. Also, you can get to Iona University via the Cross County Parkway in lower Westchester. The Cross County can be accessed from the North or South from the Henry Hudson, Bronx River Pkwy., the Major Deagan/NY Thruway, or the Bruckner Expressway (Bruckner to the Bronx River Parkway)

Take the Cross County Parkway East to the Hutchinson River Parkway . Go North to exit 17. Make a right turn at the end of the ramp and proceed one mile to Iona University. Two blocks before the campus is a McDonalds on your right. At the Mirage Diner on your right make a right turn onto Summit Ave. Park at the top of the hill in the parking lot.

From New Jersey - GW Bridge to Cross Bronx Expressway to I 95. Proceed as above.

From Queens - Whitestone Bridge or Throgs Neck Bridge to I 95 North, and proceed as above.

From Brooklyn - Interboro Parkway to Van Wyck to Whitestone Bridge to I 95 and proceed as above.

Travel time from mid-town NYC in normal traffic is approximately 40 minutes

By Train

Metro North from Grand Central Station. Take the New Haven line to New Rochelle. Travel time by train is approximately 30 minutes. A taxi from the train station to Iona University is under $5.
